The Wine Studio has recently been appointed to develop the Wines from Spain Education programme, after presenting their project to the public tender published by ICEX. The Wine Studio project is very much focused on the future, value and diversity of Spanish Wines. The work will involve creating the concept, editing and layout of study materials as well as the actual instruction during the next years.

Wine Education Week: You´ve got plans on September 9th at 18h!
The Wine Studio team has made an enormous effort to increase the pass rate of the WSET Level 3, and we’ve achieved that goal. Our school has always been above the international average, aiming to help our students thrive in both the theory and the tasting exam. This course is demanding, and students need to master the writing techniques as well as what we call “SAT” or Systematic Approach to Tasting in “WSET-speak”. After many years of correcting tasting exams, we’ve narrowed down the mistakes that come up regularly, and we want to draw your attention to them so that you can correct and/or avoid them. Here we go!
Hace un año, más o menos, grabamos una clase del WSET en la antigua sede de The Wine Studio en la Calle Lope de Vega. Se trataba de una sesión del Nivel 2 de Vinos y Espirituosos en inglés. Ese día, catábamos Sauvignon Blanc y Riesling.

We have great news for Spanish-speaking candidates of the WSET. The Wine & Spirit Education Trust announced that, starting in August 2013, Level 3 will be offered in Spanish.
